Title of TV Program: INFECTED

Running Time:

Each episode will run for about 40 minutes and a new episode will be released weekly until the season ends. The season Finale episodes would be 1 hour long so that a cliffhanger would be created for the viewers so that the next season would be highly anticipated. Each season will contain around 15 episodes and filming will take place during new released episodes and during the break from season to season.

Genre:

Zombie, Post-Apocalyptic. I chose this genre as films and programs with zombies featured are some of the most viewed and most popular genres, which would result in a large audience. Some popular TV programmes which feature zombies are The Walking Dead and Containment.

Synopsis/Plot:

The TV program follows the story of an ex Sergeant Major in the Army. It first shows his life before the apocalypse in his military career and shows his family life beforehand. Throughout the series it will show various flash backs as he suffers from PTSD which will create a separate storyline of many linked events what have happened which will be shown in dream form to the viewers. It follows the main character throughout and shows his story as well as other people around him and the people he meets. The plot will show his struggles and his life In the apocalypse which will result in the audience having a connection with the characters.

First Episodes:

In the pilot episode it jumps straight to the apocalypse and shows the main character in action with guns and melee weapons. It introduces a few of the characters briefly and introduces his back-story with the use flashbacks. In the first few episodes the characters will be alone or with other survivors and it will show each individual story with them leading up to meeting each other halfway through the first series.
